Proposal 2026-1 A proposal to convene a constitutional convention for the purpose of drafting a general revision of the state constitution
Shall a convention of elected delegates be convened in 2027 to draft a general revision of the State Constitution for presentation to the state’s voters for their approval or rejection?

Proposal 2026-2 A proposed initiated law to prohibit campaign contributions from certain regulated utilities and government contractors and apply campaign finance laws and regulations to additional types of political communications
The proposal would: • Prohibit regulated electric and gas utilities, contractors with over $250,000 annually in government contracts, and people and organizations with substantial connections to these utilities/contractors from making direct or indirect campaign contributions to those who run for or hold offices that impact them. • Expand laws regulating spending on political communications, including those requiring disclosing donor information, to apply to communications clearly identifying candidates or ballot questions, even if they do not expressly advocate voting for/against them. • Expressly apply the law requiring disclosure of who paid for political communications to internet political communications. Should this proposal be adopted?

ALLEGAN COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL
For the purpose of providing funds for the operation of the Allegan Conservation District, including programs to assist landowners in the protection and enhancement of natural resources, environmental education, and environmental remediation within Allegan County, shall Allegan County be authorized to levy a millage annually in an amount not to exceed 0.0943 mill ($0.0943 per each $1,000 of taxable value), which is a renewal of the previously authorized millage rate that expires in 2026, against all taxable property within Allegan County, for a period of six (6) years, 2027 through 2032, inclusive? The estimate of the revenue the County will collect in the first year (2027) if the millage is approved and levied by the County is approximately $795,241.

HOPKINS PUBLIC SCHOOLS BOND PROPOSAL
erecting additions to, remodeling, including safety improvements for, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re-equipping school buildings; erecting school support buildings; acquiring and installing instructional technology and instructional technology equipment for school buildings; purchasing school buses; and acquiring, equipping, preparing, developing and improving athletic fields and facilities, parking areas, driveways, and sites? The following is for informational purposes only: The estimated millage that will be levied for the proposed bonds in 2027, under current law, is 4.20 mills ($4.20 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation). The maximum number of years the bonds of any series may be outstanding, exclusive of any refunding, is twenty-five (25) years. The estimated simple average annual millage anticipated to be required to retire this bond debt is 7.91 mills ($7.91 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation). The school district expects to borrow from the State School Bond Qualification and Loan Program to pay debt service on these bonds. The estimated total principal amount of that borrowing is $11,056,097 and the estimated total interest to be paid thereon is $13,888,981. The estimated duration of the millage levy associated with that borrowing is 25 years and the estimated computed millage rate for such levy is 9.34 mills. The estimated computed millage rate may change based on changes in certain circumstances. The total amount of qualified bonds currently outstanding is $9,465,000. The total amount of qualified loans currently outstanding is $0. (Pursuant to State law, expenditure of bond proceeds must be audited and the proceeds cannot be used for repair or maintenance costs, teacher, administrator or employee salaries, or other operating expenses.)
